Geir Åge Nesse

Geir Åge Nesse (born 1984) is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of NOR Group, with responsibility for the company’s operational activities, delivery quality and the development of efficient and scalable operating models across the group’s international activities.

Nesse has nearly 20 years of experience from the offshore and subsea industry, with where 18 of them were in DeepOcean where he held several key roles within project management and department management, including as Project Manager Construction and Survey Manager. Through this period, he built solid competence within operational management, project execution and complex offshore operations in an international market.

His background provides a strong understanding of the requirements for quality, safety and efficiency in demanding deliveries, as well as the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in dynamic operational environments.

At NOR, Nesse has a central role in ensuring a high operational standard and continuous improvement of the company’s deliveries. He works with optimisation of processes, resource utilisation and collaboration across locations and markets, and is closely involved in supporting the company’s further growth and international expansion.

Nesse is known for a structured and solution oriented approach, combined with strong execution ability and a focus on operational quality and efficiency.

Through his work, he contributes to strengthening NOR Group’s ability to deliver flexible, reliable and cost effective solutions to the global energy sector.
