Jostein Jansen

Jostein Skulstad Jansen (born 1989) is Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of NOR Group, with responsibility for the company’s commercial strategy, customer development and global market position.

Jansen has over 18 years of experience from the offshore and subsea industry and 10 years offshore, started his career as an ROV pilot in 2009 with a background in mechanical subject. Through operational roles, he has built solid technical understanding and first hand knowledge of complex subsea offshore operations.

He joined NOR in 2019 as Operations Manager, and quickly took on increased responsibility in line with the company’s growth. In 2022, he was appointed Sales Manger and later Chief Commercial Officer in 2024, where he has had a central role in developing the company’s commercial structure, growth and strengthening relationships with global customers.

Before joining NOR, Jansen worked at Deep Ocean, where he held several roles within ROV operations, project execution and technical management. This experience has given him a strong combination of operational insight and commercial understanding.

As commercial leader, Jansen has been an important contributor to NOR’s growth journey, including the development of strategic customer relationships, contract work and support for the company’s international expansion.

Jansen represents a new generation of leaders in the offshore industry, with the ability to combine operational field experience with a clear commercial approach. Through his work, he contributes to strengthening NOR’s position as a flexible and reliable supplier to the global energy sector.
