ROV and Diver Digital Level
Description
The OceanTools C-Level is an ROV or diver deployed digital level used to measure and display the inclination angle of underwater structures or mooring lines. The C-Level is an integrated inclination measurement and display unit, and the measured angle is shown in real time on an LED matrix display.
The OceanTools C-Level has a ±180° angular measurement range, 0.05° accuracy (0° ±10) and 0.01° resolution. An integral 3.6 Ah rechargeable battery pack gives a typical operating duration of more than 18 hours at a typical operating current of 185 mA @ 24 VDC, and typical charge time is 4–5 hours. The acetal housing is rated to 300 m and has an anodised aluminium front plate and acrylic window.
The C-Level is 300 mm long (excluding connector) and 118 mm deep, with typical heights of 120 mm without handle, 205 mm with bar handle and 337 mm with D-type handle. Minimum weight is 5.2 kg in air and 3.5 kg in water (estimated), and the standard connector is a Glenair G5507-1508. Bar, fishtail, T-type and D-type handles, mounting block guides for a mooring chain or wire, and a base magnet with approximately 60 kg holding force in ideal conditions are available (optional).
