Description

The Coda Octopus Coda GeoSurvey DA2000 is a geophysical data acquisition system in the DAseries for sidescan sonars (SSS) and sub-bottom profilers (SBP), including digital sonars and analogue systems. The DA2000 is a 1U, 19″ rack-mountable industrial PC delivered with the software pre-installed, and it acquires SSS and SBP data simultaneously.

The Coda GeoSurvey DA2000 has 4 analogue input channels with adjustable input range, including direct hydrophone connection, and up to 2 independent/asynchronous TTL trigger inputs with a standard TTL trigger output. It has 2 serial ports for NMEA navigation, fix and annotation data, 2 Ethernet interfaces (1 × 1 Gb, 1 × 10/100 Mb) for data transfer and digital sonars, 4 USB ports, IEEE 1394 and up to two parallel printer interfaces. Real-time heave input and magnetometer input are listed as features.

The DA2000 records to internal or external hard disk, DVD RAM or remote network devices in CODA, SEGY, XTF or QMIPS format, with automatic continuous recording switch-over.
