Multipurpose Cleaning Tool

Description

The Multipurpose Cleaning Tool (MCT) is an ROV tool for cleaning a wide range of surfaces and removing marine growth. It has a brush head rotated by a hydraulic motor, and the rotation is reversible.

A mild acid cleaning solution is dispensed through the brush head. The tool is supplied with nylon brushing discs and is fitted with a flexible fishtail handle for ROV manipulators. It requires low maintenance.

The MCT measures 580 × 310 × 260 mm and weighs 15.9 kg in air with hoses and brush. It has 3.5 m of fitted hose, runs on Tellus 22 or similar hydraulic fluid, and is supplied in a plastic Peli case.
