NOR Big Bag Installation frame

Description

The NOR Big Bag Installation frame is a subsea installation frame developed to install concrete mattresses or big bags at seabed. It is designed for use by divers, by ROV, or from a vessel with applicable sensors.

For ROV and diver use the NOR Big Bag Installation frame is operated manually, with double safety locks. Concrete mattresses and big bags can also be installed with hydraulic supply from a vessel HPU. The frame has forklift pockets and ROV grabber bars, and is certified according to DNV GL ST E2.7-3 R60.

The NOR Big Bag Installation frame has a maximum gross weight of 24 000 kg. The frame alone weighs 2800 kg in air and approx. 2430 kg in water, and measures 6340 × 2500 × 640 mm. The general arrangement drawing in the datasheet shows the frame lifting 10 big bags of 900 × 900 × 1600 mm on flat straps, connected with shackles G-4163 (WLL 3.5t).
