NOR Hydraulic A-Frame

Description

The NOR Hydraulic A-Frame is a hydraulically operated aluminium A-frame for deployment and recovery of subsea equipment in marine and offshore operations. It has a rated lifting capacity of approx. 450 kg, a span of 1.8 m and a height of 3 m.

The NOR Hydraulic A-Frame extends to a maximum angle of 55° and retracts to -15°, and hydraulic operation gives controlled positioning during deployment and retrieval. The aluminium construction is corrosion-resistant and suitable for marine environments, and the shipping weight is approx. 400 kg.

Typical applications for the NOR Hydraulic A-Frame are deployment and recovery of marine geophysical survey equipment, side-scan sonar and towed sensor operations, subsea inspection and oceanographic instrumentation, hydrographic and offshore survey operations, and temporary vessel mobilizations requiring dedicated lifting equipment.
