NOR-Otaq Gyro Frame

Description

The Otaq Gyro Frame is a gyro frame used for subsea structure positioning or as a standard inclinometer. Heading, roll and pitch are read out on the subsea display, with different possibilities for positioning.

The Otaq Gyro Frame can also be used with a MET stab, and the MET stab receptacle can be pre-installed on the structure. Power comes from a 10 Ah battery with ROV on/off switch; more battery capacity and other equipment integrations are available on request (optional).

The Otaq Gyro Frame measures 482 × 399 × 624 mm and is rated to 3000 MSW. It weighs 49 kg including MET stab assembly, 64 kg including Octans Gyro, and approximately 25 kg in water.
