Hydraulic ROV Dredge With Backflush
Description
The NOR ROV Dredge 8 inch is a hydraulically powered, low-pressure seawater pump for ROV subsea intervention. It is used for salvage, excavating underwater pipeline systems, dredging and similar underwater offshore intervention. The dredge is designed around the hydraulic capacity provided by the ROV.
The NOR ROV Dredge 8 inch has a maximum hydraulic flow of 70 lpm and a maximum hydraulic pressure of 200 bar. The theoretical water flow is 1400 lpm at the pump and 9285 lpm gross water flow. The theoretical removal capacity is 96 T/hr for sand and 52 T/hr for rocks, with a maximum rock size of 190 mm.
The dredge has a hydraulically operated backflush mechanism for clogging issues, which requires a minimum of 10 lpm at 100 bar (max 200 bar). It also has a low-pressure water jetting system with a separate nozzle. The hydraulic interface uses ¾ hose / JIC 12 for pressure and return, ½ hose / JIC 8 for drain and ¼ hose / JIC 4 for backflush close and backflush open. The approximate weight is 150 kg in air and 120 kg in water.
