QPS Qimera 2

Description

QPS Qimera 2 is multibeam data processing software from QPS for post-processing multibeam echosounder, positioning and motion data from hydrographic surveys. Qimera 2 is used for editing, filtering, gridding and product generation from a wide variety of point cloud formats, and the user can return to the original ping at any time.

Qimera 2 includes Qimera Live for "hands-off" near-real time data processing and gridding, and Cooperative Cleaning and Production Line Processing workflows that let multiple processors work on the same project simultaneously. Analysis tools in Qimera 2 include the Patch Test tool with auto-solve functions for multibeam calibration, the Wobble tool, time series editors and multiplots, the Cross Check tool and Extinction tests. Automated data cleaning uses the Spline, CUBE and Blocking filters, and the TU Delft sound speed inversion provides an automated, repeatable sound speed refraction algorithm with output for vetting and reporting.

Qimera 2 covers sonar processing for all major manufacturers on surface vessels, ROV, AUV and ASV, with dynamic refraction, motion and tide corrections, real-time dynamic surface editing with 3D visualisation, automated data import with automatically generated vessel files, and guided workflows. Outputs include BAG, XYZ, ASCII, GSF and S-57, and Qimera 2 integrates with Qinsy and Fledermaus.

Qimera Midwater (water-column processing for QINSy DB, Kongsberg ALL and KMALL, and Reson/Norbit S7K formats), backscatter processing and mosaicking via Fledermaus Geocoder Toolbox, and "Connected" S-57 feature management are add-ons (optional).
