Description
The Subsea Lifting Basket 7t (model Basket 7 tonne, part number 10026-001) is a steel lifting and transport basket for tools and equipment, certified according to DNVGL-ST-E273. It is built for multipurpose use according to customer needs.
The Subsea Lifting Basket 7t has a payload of 7000 kg and a maximum gross weight (MGW) of 8300 kg. It weighs 1300 kg in air and 952 kg in water. The inner dimensions are 1950 × 1950 × 990 mm and the outer dimensions are 2488 × 2256 × 1290 mm (L × W × H), or 2384 mm high with the center pole.
The basket can be lifted from the center pole with a single wire rope, or from its corners with a 4-legged wire sling. The center pole and the ROV grabber bars are removable. ROV-friendly hatches on top open from the center outwards and can be removed if an open basket is needed. The basket has forklift pockets and is made of steel with Norsok System 7.
