Open Sided Wire Rope and Umbilical Cutter
Description
The Wire Rope Cutter is an open sided cutting tool for wire rope, cables and umbilicals. The open sided design allows the Wire Rope Cutter to be positioned on the cable. It is built in corrosion resistant stainless steel and can be used at any water depth.
The Wire Rope Cutter cuts wire rope up to Ø38 mm of 1770 N/mm² grade at a maximum input pressure of 220 bar. A low pressure cylinder removes the need for an intensifier panel. The Wire Rope Cutter weighs approximately 20.5 kg.
The Wire Rope Cutter is suitable for cutting wire rope, cables and umbilicals and for operation in confined spaces. The datasheet lists wire rope sizes from 1/2" (13 mm) to 1.5" (38 mm).
