XT-TOP 18-3/4″ CLEANING TOOL

Description

The XT-TOP 18-3/4″ Cleaning Tool is an ROV handled tool for cleaning XT-TOP 18-3/4″ wellhead seal surfaces. It is designed for use on an 18-3/4″ wellhead with or without tubing hanger installed. The XT-TOP 18-3/4″ Cleaning Tool consists of a main frame with a hydraulic driven cleaning disc and is handled by ROV manipulator.

Hydraulic supply and control of the XT-TOP 18-3/4″ Cleaning Tool are provided through the ROV system. When hydraulic system pressure is supplied to the hydraulic motor, the cleaning disc starts to turn. The tool requires a flow of 7 LPM at a working pressure of 110 bar and a maximum pressure of 140 bar, through a dual port hot stab with 3/8″ BSP connections.

The complete arrangement of the XT-TOP 18-3/4″ Cleaning Tool measures 847 × 869 × 810 mm (L × W × H) and weighs 61 kg in air and 38 kg submerged. The cleaning disc has a stroke of 0–43 mm. The tool can be connected to an acid injecting system (optional).
