NOR is expanding its service portfolio with the launch of Cable Moulding, a new in-house capability that will play a central role in our global operational support going forward. As cables are an essential part of nearly every piece of offshore and subsea equipment, bringing this service into our own facilities significantly enhances how we support our customers across the world.
Why Cable Moulding Matters
By internalising Cable Moulding, NOR strengthens delivery precision and reduces lead times for customers operating under demanding project schedules. With the ability to produce cable assemblies in-house, we ensure consistent availability and can provide tailored solutions that meet specific operational requirements. This enhances both the flexibility and reliability of our global offering.
Technical Capabilities
We now offer:
- Neoprene moulding using heat and pressure injection machines
- Polyurethane (PU) moulding
This includes both overmoulding and in-line moulding, giving customers a broad range of options for different technical applications and operational environments. These capabilities ensure watertight integrity, mechanical protection and long-term stability — all critical factors for safe and efficient subsea performance.
Why NOR?
Our advantage lies not only in offering Cable Moulding, but in how it is integrated into NOR’s broader service model.
By combining equipment rental, workshop preparation, cable fabrication, moulding, testing and logistics within the same organisational framework, we deliver a seamless, end-to-end operational chain.
