eTorque Tool Class 1-4

Description

The Oceaneering eTorque Tool Class 1/4 is an electrical ROV torque tool for API 17D/ISO 13628-8 Class 1–4 interfaces. The eTorque Tool provides torque and turn feedback and control, and operates rotational valves continuously when submersed without changing motor size, gear steps or valve interfaces.

The eTorque Tool Class 1/4 has a torque range from 50 to 2,700 Nm and a depth rating of 3,000 m. It measures 570 mm (480 mm without ROV handle) × 228 mm × 240 mm (L × W × H) and weighs 43 kg in air and 32 kg in water. The tool is made of aluminium / 316L with A4-80 fasteners and uses Hydraway 22 oil or similar.

The eTorque Tool is used with the eRcu min, a POD for the torque tool with 100–240 VAC, 1–3 phase, 5–32 A input and RS232/RS485 communication. The eRcu min connects to the ROV with IE55-2410-Pigtail power cable and IE55-2412-Pigtail communication cable and weighs 32 kg in air and 11 kg in water.

For transport, the eTorque Tool Class 1/4 package measures 800 × 600 × 500 mm and weighs 105 kg.
