Electric ROV Torque Tool Without POD
Description
The Oceaneering eTorque Tool Class 1/4 MK2 is an electrical ROV torque tool for API 17D/ISO 13628-8 Class 1–4 interfaces. The eTorque Tool MK2 provides torque and turn feedback and control, and operates rotational valves continuously when submersed without changing motor size, gear steps or valve interfaces.
The eTorque Tool Class 1/4 MK2 has no POD and connects directly to an ROV output with 110 VAC, 1 phase, minimum 10 A, and RS232 communication through a 5506-2013 connector. It has a torque range from 50 to 2,700 Nm and a depth rating of 3,000 m.
The eTorque Tool MK2 weighs 60 kg in air and 42 kg in water. The datasheet gives L × W × H as 570 mm (480 mm without ROV handle) × 228 mm × 240 mm and size as 368 × 230 × 573 mm (with handle). The tool is made of aluminium / 316L with A4-80 fasteners and uses Hydraway 22 oil or similar.
The transport box for the eTorque Tool Class 1/4 MK2 measures 800 × 600 × 400 mm and weighs 75 kg.
