Fluid Injection Skid

ROV Fluid Injection and Pressure Test Skid

Description

The NOR Fluid Injection Skid is a skid for fluid injection and/or pressure testing that holds up to 316 l of fluid (2 × 158 l). The Fluid Injection Skid can also be used as a stand-alone fluid reservoir operated by ROV. Subsea gauges are mounted for controlling input and output pressure, and adjustable probes allow interfacing to various types of ROVs.

The Fluid Injection Skid has a maximum input pressure of 200 bar and a maximum output pressure of 690 bar, with a maximum input flow rate of 70 lpm and a maximum output flow rate of 17.5 lpm. Fluids listed are hydraulic oil, glycol, sea water, methanol, HW443 and Transaqua DW.

The Fluid Injection Skid measures 3000 × 1300 × 500 mm (L × W × H) and weighs 560 kg in air without fluid and 15 kg in water. Hydraulic connections are 8 JIC for pressure, return and suction, and 4 JIC for GP 1, 2, 3, pilots/drain and output A & B. A transfer pump for filling fluid bags and all required hoses are included. Various pumps and systems can be installed (optional), such as DWP, IHPU 10K, flowmeters and pressure sensors.
