Manual Low Torque Tool API 17H Type A, B, & C

Description

The Manual Torque Tool API 17H / ISO 13628-8 Type A, B & C is a torque limiter for ROV manipulator operation of API 17H / ISO 13628-8 Type A, B and C torque interfaces. An adjustable torque limiting clutch limits the maximum torque transmitted from the ROV manipulator to the valve interface during ROV intervention, reducing the risk of over-torquing and damaging the valve or valve stem.

The Manual Torque Tool has a torque range of 20–200 Nm, and the maximum output torque can be adjusted without dismantling the tool. The tool is supplied with a torque wrench for setting the torque. It is mechanically operated by ROV and weighs ~8 kg in air and ~6 kg submerged. The depth rating is stated as any water depth.

The multi-function end effector interfaces with Type A (flat paddle) and Type B and C (T-bar) valve handles.
