Manual Torque Tool High Torque Interface

Description

The Manual Torque Tool High (ISO 13628-8 / API 17H torque interface) is a manual torque tool, also called a torque limiter, for ROV manipulator operation of rotary torque interfaces. The tool limits the torque that can be transmitted from the ROV manipulator to the valve stem during an ROV intervention, to reduce the risk of over-torqueing and damaging the valve or valve stem.

The Manual Torque Tool High has an integral, adjustable torque limiting clutch that can be pre-set to any torque from 20–200 Nm. The maximum output torque is adjustable without dismantling the tool, and the tool is supplied with a torque wrench for accurate torque setting. The tool is mechanically operated by the ROV.

The Manual Torque Tool High weighs approximately 9 kg in air and approximately 8 kg submerged, and the depth rating is stated as any water depth.
