ROV Tooling Backpack
Description
The NOR Backpack MKII is an ROV tooling backpack designed for easy integration with ROVs and for operating a wide range of tooling and intervention tasks. It carries 3 × 16 L of fluid, is rated to 3,000 m and is supplied with a lifting certificate.
The backpack can be fitted with brackets or probes on the back to match the ROV’s frame connection points. Ready-made brackets are available for FCV 3000, Schilling, Kystdesign, Hercules and Centurion SMD ROVs.
The backpack can carry two separate pump systems: a DWP with a flow capacity of 60 or 120 lpm depending on the pump, and a 10K booster pump that can be connected to a separate compensator. In deepwater operations, this gives more versatility and operational options, including pressure testing and injections.
The backpack can also be configured with an internal valve pack, a dirty work pack, an IHPU and various sensors.
