Description

The NOR Backpack XL is an ROV backpack made to be integrated on the back of various ROVs for operating ROV tooling or other intervention tasks. Brackets on the back let the backpack go into the ROV frame for connection points, and a lifting point on top helps installation on the ROV. The NOR Backpack XL is made to fit Schilling HD and Kystdesign ROVs (DOP) and multipurpose brackets.

The NOR Backpack XL has a 5-station valve pack with topside touch panel, external flow and pressure logging, and a 16 ltr compensator with level sensor; more compensator volume can be added. Maximum input pressure is 3000 psi (207 bar) with 100 LPM input flow, and the output is 0–3000 psi (207 bar) at 0–100 LPM.

The NOR Backpack XL measures 1650 × 446 × 1264 mm, weighs 400 kg in air and 15 kg in water, and is rated to 3000 m.
