Description
The ROV Swordfish Knife (model NE-KN1) is a subsea knife for handling by an ROV manipulator. The knife and fishtail handle are made in one piece, and the knife is used for cutting ropes, nets, hoses, wires, cans, fibreglass and similar materials.
The ROV Swordfish Knife has a serrated blade with a hook for slicing and piercing, and the blade can be re-sharpened on site. The knife has no welds and no bolts. It is made of stainless steel, has a length of 520 mm and weighs 2 kg in air.
