Tooltec FLOT

Description

The Tooltec FLOT (Flying Lead Orientation Tool) is a tool for use with a Class 1–4 torque tool to engage, transport and dock flying leads. The FLOT can be installed with a Tool Tec Class 1–4 torque tool, and adaptor kits for fitting third-party torque tools can be supplied (optional).

The Tooltec FLOT pitches the torque tool from +60° to −90° from the horizontal and rotates it ±20° from the vertical/centre position. Dynamic pitch load is 300 kg and roll torque is 1800 Nm. The FLOT is hydraulically driven with an input pressure of 3,000 psi and input flow of 15 lpm, through ¼" standpipe ends c/w nut and ferrule.

The Tooltec FLOT has interfaces for the Tooltec Torque Tool, Forum Torque Tool, FLX 360 Tool and Oceaneering electrical torque tool. It is rated to 3,000 msw, measures 670 × 450 × 560 mm and weighs 80 kg in air and 60 kg in water.
